Community Organized in Prayer for Salvation is comprised of individuals whose sole purpose is to win Souls for Jesus Christ. The members of COPS are Deputized in the Name of Jesus to arrest Satan and rid our area of violence. The primary focus of COPS is EVANGELISM and we operate under the direction of the Great Commission. The mission of COPS is as follows:
- To train, inspire and equip faith based institutions in the spiritual principles of Evangelism
- To provide a Biblical basis for Evangelism
- To motivate participants to a new commitment to Evangelism
- To demonstrate and equip participants with a new understanding of and conviction to share the Gospel (the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ)
- To equip participants with practical methods for developing evangelism programs for the local church
- To emphasize, illustrate and apply the Biblical concept of Evangelism as a process of sowing, reaping and discipling
- To equip Believers with different approaches to Evangelism
- To inform Believers of the different definitions of Evangelism
- To inform Believers about discipling and follow-up
